Ed Green is a Senior Director at Charter and a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 25 years of international experience in civil infrastructure construction and project delivery. With a career that spans the UK, UAE, and Canada, Ed brings a global perspective and deep technical expertise in cost estimating, construction management, and strategic advisory services for complex infrastructure projects.

Starting his career as a site engineer in the UK, Ed has held leadership roles across continents, managing construction efforts and estimating departments for multi-billion-dollar transportation, tunnel, bridge, and marine infrastructure initiatives. Since joining Charter, Ed has led the cost planning, constructability strategy, and project delivery oversight on some of British Columbia’s most significant public infrastructure projects, including the Fraser River Tunnel Project, Pattullo Bridge Replacement, and the Highway 1 Corridor Improvements.

A specialist in collaborative delivery models—including Alliance, Progressive Design-Build, and CMAR—Ed is known for his ability to guide Owners through the intricacies of procurement, cost control, risk management, and contract strategy. He has led owner’s cost teams, developed project affordability models, and negotiated target cost estimates on projects exceeding $1 billion in value.

Ed is highly regarded for his analytical approach, decisive leadership, and ability to deliver practical, buildable solutions in technically challenging environments.
